Rev. Michelle Pinckney-McBeth

Rev. Michelle F. B. Pinkney-McBeth MDiv., Pastor at Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Kennett Square, PA, Preacher, Teacher, Mentor, Artist, Intercessor, Administrator, and Friend.   Helping others is what  Rev. Michelle Pinkney-McBeth was born to do.  Affectionately called “Rev. Michelle” she shares the love of God and her gifts for His glory and honor.  Rev. Michelle has helped many individuals in her community and church.

Rev. Michelle is the Pastor of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Kennett Square, PA.  She was called by God to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ at an early age and licensed to preach in 1991.  She has earned a Biblical Studies diploma from the Main Bible Institute, an Associates Degree of Bible and  Ministry from The Center for Urban Theological Studies at Philadelphia.

She is the founder of  The Daughters of God, Women Reaching Out to Help and Project Hope, Inc.  God has given to her passion and a special love for people answered that call with honor and humility.  Matthew 28:19-20, “Go ye therefore, and, teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost.  Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Rev. Michelle has served in many capacities of the Human Services field. She has worked with mental health individuals, female juvenile offenders, Head Start children and families,  Drug and Alcohol dependent adults, and at-risk boys. Rev. Michelle has a heart for the people of God. She has served at the local church at many levels, served as a mentor for children in the “Mentoring Children of Purpose” program. She has, also, been a member of the IC Movement traveling Christian drama ministry.

Rev. Michelle was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is married to Deacon Jerry McBeth, and has one beautiful son, James. She is the elder daughter two children born to Sara and Edward Fletcher.  But, above all, she is the child of the most high God.
